Communities across Australia are invited to turn their towns pink as Pink Up Your Town returns for 2026. This McGrath Foundation campaign brings people together to raise funds and ensure more people experiencing cancer can access the support of a McGrath Cancer Care Nurse.

From decorating streets to hosting local events, every community can get involved in its own way. Every splash of pink helps fund free, expert cancer care. Register your town and be part of something meaningful.

The Alice Springs community will receive a significant boost in cancer care with the appointment of a McGrath Cancer Care Nurse, Pauline Otieno, specialising in supporting people and their families experiencing any type of cancer.

Metcash Food Supplier of the Year Awards 2026 raised $156,000 for the McGrath Foundation, helping fund McGrath Cancer Care Nurses to support people experiencing cancer.

Dinah Tegan Nurse - Hero

The Rockingham area will receive a boost in cancer support with the appointment of a new McGrath Cancer Care Nurse. Dinah Tegan will be supporting people experiencing any type of cancer. Dinah will be based in Rockingham General Hospital, and brings the number of McGrath Cancer Care Nurses in Western Australia to 37.

Vicki Rutten Nurse - Hero

Cairns has welcomed its first McGrath Cancer Care Nurse dedicated to supporting people experiencing gastrointestinal cancers. Based at Cairns Hospital, Vicki Rutten will provide free expert care and support to patients and their families across the region.

Nicola Davis Nurse - Hero

Bundaberg, QLD has welcomed its first McGrath Cancer Care Nurse dedicated to supporting people experiencing colorectal cancers. Based at Bundaberg Cancer Care Centre, Nicola Davis will provide free expert care and support to patients and their families in the area.

First Nations Cancer Care Nurse - Kayalia Marks

Cancer care for First Nations communities on the Gold Coast is being strengthened with the appointment of McGrath Cancer Care Nurse Kayalia Marks, who provides culturally safe, expert support for people experiencing cancer.

A new online platform aims to support breast cancer survivors at risk of lymphoedema. Developed by Flinders University and supported by McGrath Cancer Care Nurses, LeaN On provides practical guidance to help people recognise symptoms, manage risk and seek support.
