The Shepparton region will receive a significant boost in cancer support with the appointment of Victoria’s first McGrath Cancer Care Nurse specialising in haematological cancers.
Based at Shepparton Hospital, Eva Driver, will provide expert support for people and their families experiencing blood cancers, including leukaemia, lymphoma and myeloma.
The appointment expands access to specialised blood cancer nursing support for the local community, bringing expert care closer to home for people and families experiencing haematological cancers.
