The McGrath Foundation has recognised the enduring commitment to Pink Stumps Day nation-wide, awarding 2022 Pink Service Awards to twenty-five cricket clubs across the country. These clubs have hosted their own Pink Stumps Day for ten years, showing amazing dedication to fundraising for people with breast cancer.

Pink Stumps Day is the McGrath Foundation’s largest community fundraising campaign where cricket clubs and teams, workplaces, schools and backyard players across the nation turn their cricket game pink to fundraise for the McGrath Foundation.

“It’s through the hard work of these incredible clubs that we can continue funding McGrath Breast Care Nurses across the country. Without their ongoing enthusiasm and commitment, we wouldn’t be able to place McGrath Breast Care Nurses in communities where they’re needed most,” McGrath Foundation Ambassador & Director Tracy Bevan said.

“With 73 more nurses needed to ensure that everyone has access to this crucial care, the support of these local clubs is more vital than ever,” Bevan continued.

With gratitude, the McGrath Foundation would like to thank the twenty-five amazing recipients of this year’s Pink Service Awards: Albany Creek Cricket Club Inc, Ayr State High School, Bacchus Marsh Cricket Club, Brisbane Girls Grammar School, Canberra Workers Redbacks Cricket Club, Essex Heights Primary School, Heatherdale Cricket Club, Kingsley Woodvale Junior Cricket Club, Lysterfield Cricket Club, Masada College, Mordialloc Cricket Club, Nathalia Association Cricket Club, Natone Cricket Club, NTO Googlies Cricket Club, Old Boys Cricket Club, Parkdale United Cricket Club, Puckapunyal Cricket Club, Quirindi Junior Cricket Association, Riverside Cricket Club, Rolleston Cricket Club, South Croydon Cricket Club, South Perth Junior Cricket Club, St Christopher’s Cricket Club, West Augusta Cricket Club and Woodend Cricket Club.

The McGrath Foundation is so grateful to have the incredible support of these clubs.
