A new online platform aims to support breast cancer survivors at risk of lymphoedema. Developed by Flinders University and supported by McGrath Cancer Care Nurses, LeaN On provides practical guidance to help people recognise symptoms, manage risk and seek support.

Darwin will receive a boost in cancer support with the appointment of a McGrath Cancer Care Nurse, Jackelyne Gacosta, specialising in care for people experiencing gynaecological cancers. This brings the total number of McGrath Cancer Care Nurses in the area to three, joining two existing roles supporting people experiencing breast cancer.

The Illawarra and Shoalhaven has received a boost in cancer support with the appointment of McGrath Cancer Care Nurses, Taylar Grech and Madeleine Dempsey, who are supporting people experiencing genitourinary cancers. This brings the total number of McGrath Cancer Care Nurses in the area to nine.
