Pink M&M’s Retain Breast Awareness Friendship

Everyone knows the McGrath Foundation loves to add a touch of hot pink to the lives of Australians in the name of breast awareness, whether it be through pink grocery items in supermarkets or on sporting fields.

Not only has the McGrath Foundation made pink the new black, they’ve also transformed yellow and red and green and blue into the new pink and white, with the limited edition release of pink and white M&Ms!

Long-term friends of the Foundation’s, Mars and IGA, have once again put the in-demand pink and white M&Ms back on shelf in 2010 to raise money for the McGrath Foundation to help fund McGrath Breast Care Nurses in communities right across Australia and to increase breast awareness in young women.

The pink and white M&Ms will be sold exclusively through IGA stores in October for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, with 30 cents from the sale of every pack donated to the McGrath Foundation.

The McGrath Foundation’s Tracy Bevan is thrilled to see pink and white M&Ms back for October.

‘People are always asking us when the pink and white M&Ms will be available. They’re a hot commodity and we’re so pleased to see them back on shelf for 2010.

‘We’re really thankful to Mars and IGA for being such amazing friends over the past couple of years. I have no doubt there are many pink and white M&M fans out there that love them as much as we do!’ said Tracy.
