Meet 8 Breast Care Nurses This Cricket Season

2014 marks the sixth anniversary of the friendship between the McGrath Foundation, Cricket Australia, SCG Trust, Cricket NSW and new sponsor Commonwealth Bank. Together, this friendship and the support from the Australian community has raised over $5 million for the McGrath Foundation through a variety of cricketing activities, directly funding eight McGrath Breast Care Nurse positions.

These eight McGrath Breast Care Nurse positions are located in Newcastle (NSW), Campbelltown (NSW), Echuca (Vic), Ballarat (Vic), Fremantle (WA), Ipswich (QLD), Launceston (TAS) and Mount Barker (SA) ‘ all taking us another step closer to 150 McGrath Breast Care Nurses, a number the McGrath Foundation believes needs to be reached so that it can achieve its mission of every Australian family experiencing breast cancer having access to a breast care nurse regardless of their location or their financial situation.
