NRMA Insurance celebrates hat-trick of McGrath Cancer Care Nurses
Excitement was in the air at the Pitch Deck when NRMA Insurance announced funding for their third McGrath Cancer Care Nurse, marking a significant milestone in their ongoing support for the McGrath Foundation.
This newly funded nurse will be based in Western Australia, specialising in Neuroendocrine cancer care, ensuring even more families impacted by cancer have access to vital care and support.
NRMA Insurance’s commitment to funding McGrath Cancer Care Nurses began with their support for Kate Williams, based at Naracoorte Health Service in South Australia. Kate’s work has been transformative for her community, ensuring that people with cancer and their families receive the compassionate care they need.
Following Kate, NRMA Insurance funded the position of Helen Moore, based at Calvary Mater Newcastle in New South Wales. Helen has been a beacon of hope for countless families, offering expert care and guidance during their most challenging times.
Now, with the addition of a third nurse in Western Australia, NRMA Insurance’s impact is stretching even further, addressing the unique needs of patients affected by Neuroendocrine cancer.

Ahead of the NRMA Insurance Pink Test starting on Friday at the Sydney Cricket Ground, the McGrath Foundation, with the support of Cricket Australia, today announced it’s taking its care beyond breast cancer, to support people experiencing any type of cancer.
