Celebrates on 18 September with First-Ever Giving Day: ‘Now For All Cancers Day’
As it approaches its 20th Anniversary the McGrath Foundation is thanking people right across Australia for two decades of support in helping transform cancer care across the country.

To mark the milestone, the Foundation will host its first-ever Giving Day – Now For All Cancers Day – on 18 September 2025. For 24 hours, every donation will be doubled thanks to the support of IGA and two generous major donors.
With almost 1 in 2 people in Australia diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime, the McGrath Foundation is calling on the nation to help ensure no one goes through cancer without the care of a McGrath Cancer Care Nurse.
Following the announcement at the Pink Test in January that the McGrath Foundation is taking its care to all cancers, funds raised on Now For All Cancers Day will help place more McGrath Cancer Care Nurses in communities where they’re needed most, supporting individuals and families regardless of the cancer they face.
“Our 302 McGrath Cancer Care Nurses provide world-leading cancer nursing care to people and their families experiencing cancer right across Australia.”
- Holly Masters, CEO McGrath Foundation
Holly Masters, McGrath Foundation CEO, said:
“As we celebrate our 20th Anniversary, we are incredibly grateful for the generosity of the Australian public who have made it possible to support over 161,000 families through cancer. But with almost half of all people in Australia likely to be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime the need for supportive cancer nursing care across the country has never been greater.
“Now For All Cancers Day is a chance to build on this legacy - every donation made on 18 September will be doubled - ensuring more people, no matter what cancer they face, can access the care of a McGrath Cancer Care Nurse,” Masters continued.
