20 years of pink partnerships

We are proud to stand alongside our passionate partners who have turned Australia pink in support of people experiencing cancer.

They have been instrumental to helping us work towards our purpose of ensuring that no one goes through cancer without care.

IGA

IGA retailers together with Metcash have been devoted supporters of the McGrath Foundation since 2010. United by a commitment to supporting local communities across Australia, IGA and the McGrath Foundation share a belief in showing up where care is needed most. With the support and collaboration of Metcash, as well as participating suppliers and retailers, IGA has raised over $3 million for our cause.

From campaigns like the McGrath Foundation-branded apple promotions, to collaborations with Masterfoods (the famous pink tomato sauce bottle), Goodman Fielder and Unilever, IGA and the broader Metcash team have kept the pink spirit alive in-store and beyond.

“We have loved working together to support local communities and we look forward to continuing that support with the expansion of the McGrath Foundation into care for everyone facing any type of cancer, so they too can access the support of a McGrath Nurse when they need it most.”

- Grant Ramage, CEO Metcash Food

bp

From turning entire service stations pink, to involving many of their suppliers including the now iconic Thins Pink Chips campaign, selling over 100 bags a day, bp’s creativity and commitment has helped set new fundraising milestones year after year.
Since 2013, the McGrath Foundation’s long-standing partnership with bp has been built on shared values and a commitment to making a difference.

The bp employees and customers have been instrumental in our partnership – whether by rallying behind pink products in-store, welcoming Glenn McGrath to their morning teas or embracing the pink spirit.

“We are proud of how far we’ve come together and even more proud to see the McGrath Foundation taking its care to all cancers. Here’s to the next chapter of this enduring and meaningful partnership.”

Community First

Since joining forces in 2009, the McGrath Foundation’s partnership with Community First has been grounded in a common dedication to caring for community. It all began with the launch of the Low-Rate Pink Credit Card, which has raised over $1.6 million to date.

From a dress made of pink credit cards and branded mopeds to pink-themed coffee cups and in-store activations, Community First has thrown their full support behind our cause. As our partnership has evolved, so too has the involvement of Community First staff and members – through pink morning teas, volunteering at the Pink Test, and hearing the moving story of Jane McGrath at internal events.

"We deeply value the passion, trust and shared commitment that has defined our partnership with the McGrath Foundation. It’s been an honour to support your purpose of ensuring no one goes through cancer without the care of a McGrath Cancer Care Nurse. Your incredible impact is a testament to your dedication - we know Jane would be proud." - Anthony Perkiss, CEO Community First
