Pink Up Your Town

Pink Up Your Town is an incredible fundraising activity that calls for an entire town to pink up during Breast Cancer Awareness Month (Oct) – or any time of year!

Driven by the dedication and passion of a local volunteer committee, Pink Up Your Town is a powerful way to bring together clubs, businesses, schools and neighbours to create a visual show of support for families experiencing breast cancer.

Everything you need to get started

We’re here every step of the way to ensure your Pink Up Your Town fundraiser is a huge success.

Form a committee

Volunteering to chair your own committee is something truly special! Members are from all backgrounds, professions and walks of life and are responsible for organising all fundraising activities in their local area – in the lead up and throughout execution. Get in touch to get involved next year.

From posters to social media, we’ve created all the templates you need to help you Pink Up Your Town.
All materials can be edited to reflect your own community’s name and event details.

Pink up your own event

Want to pink up something else? If joining a committee isn’t for you, there are so many ways to raise money to support McGrath Breast Care Nurses. The ideas are endless; from pinking up your next bake sale, hosting a workplace fundraiser or getting involved in one of our campaigns.

Be Inspired by Yungaburra

Yungaburra a picturesque town of 1200 people in north QLD, hosted their very first Pink Up Your Town event in 2018.  An inspired committee drove an incredibly successful series of events that ran over an action packed weekend of Pink.  The events brought the whole community together with something for everyone; whether it was dancing the night away at the Pink Rock n’ Roll Ball, visiting the Classic Car & Bike Show, taking part in the motorbike run, or proving their strength in the community tug of war.  See how this incredible town came together “Pinked Up”, and raised $26,000 for people experiencing breast cancer.
