Samantha Wills Unites With Mt Franklin

SAMANTHA WILLS AND ‘MOUNT FRANKLIN’ STAND UNITED IN SUPPORT OF THE MCGRATH FOUNDATION

Following last year’s debut partnership, SAMANTHA WILLS and ‘Mount Franklin’ are teaming up again, presenting an exciting collaboration in support of the McGrath Foundation to raise funds and awareness during Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Samantha Wills is heading up the collaboration as Creative Director & Ambassador. Wills’ vision for the #UnitedWeStand campaign drew direct inspiration from the legacy of McGrath Foundation Founder, Jane McGrath.

‘Jane’s legacy is that of one woman, which now continues to impact women across the nation. The more women unite for this important cause, the further Jane’s incredible message goes.’ Wills explains.

With a strong fashion direction, the hero of the collection marks SAMANTHA WILLS’ first foray into apparel, uniting with ‘Mount Franklin’, to create a premium, fashion slouchy t-shirt, featuring the campaign’s signature jeweled headpiece print (commissioned by Australian artist, Kelly Smith). Inspired by the ‘Warrioress’, with epaulettes on the shirt to represent strength and in rose gold tones to represent femininity, Wills’ vision was to design a t-shirt that signified & celebrated the power & strength of women. To round out the fashion offering, Wills has also designed a collection of her signature jewellery for the campaign ‘ another way that women can pledge their allegiance and wear their support in style for the McGrath Foundation.

Available for purchase by women nationwide from September 9th at samanthawills.com/mountfranklin, $30 from each T-shirt sold will be donated to the McGrath Foundation*.

The ‘Warrioress’ concept will also be prevalent across the ‘Mount Franklin’ bottles. Featuring stand out Aztec watercolor prints and a decadently illustrated femme warrior, these ‘Mount Franklin’ glass and plastic bottles will be as in-demand and must-have accessory this season, as the t-shirt and jewellery. To celebrate Australian women uniting in support of raising funds for McGrath Breast Care Nurses, ‘Mount Franklin’ will also be turning the iconic 600ml plastic bottle completely pink for only a limited time through this campaign.

Samantha Wills says, ‘This collection is ultimately celebrating strong women across Australia coming together to make a difference. As a long-time friend and supporter of the McGrath Foundation, I’m delighted to be uniting with ‘Mount Franklin’ once again in support of this cause.’

Tracy Bevan, McGrath Foundation Ambassador and Director, says, ‘Our McGrath Breast Care Nurses have helped support over 25,000 women and their families experiencing breast cancer. Working with Corporate Friends like ‘Mount Franklin’ and Samantha Wills enables us to continue this important work’.

‘Mount Franklin’ has been associated with breast cancer charities since 2006 and will have contributed more than $2 million to the cause by the end of the year. Since 2010 the company has been working with the McGrath Foundation to help extend the network of McGrath Breast Care Nurses and now funds three McGrath ‘Mount Franklin’ Breast Care Nurses based in Kalgoorlie and Esperance in Western Australia and Angaston in South Australia.
