McGrath Foundation was shortlisted for two awards this week – one for Best PR-led Event or Activation of the Year, for the McGrath Foundation Mosaic at Vivid Sydney, and Best Investor or Community Relations Program for Pink Up Mudgee, as part of the Mumbrella CommsCon Awards.
Pink Up Mudgee is the inaugural event of our newest community campaign, Pink Up Your Town. During October 2016, close to 300 Mudgee businesses turned pink and held fundraising events – raising more than $120,000 for the Foundation! Bringing the community together in support of families experiencing breast cancer, Mudgee shone a light on Breast Cancer Awareness Month and showed the power of bringing people together for a common cause.
It was an honour for the hard work of our teams and community friends recognised amongst such a high calibre of nominees.
The Mumbrella CommsCon Awards ceremony took place in Sydney on Thursday evening, 30 March.
