High Tea Party Celebrates a Pink Decade

In the McGrath Foundation’s milestone 10th anniversary year, the iconic McGrath Foundation Signature High Tea returns to Melbourne for an afternoon of sweet treats and savoury eats that will tickle guests pink.

The Savoy Ballroom in the Grand Hyatt Melbourne will play host to an afternoon of entertainment and sophistication to support families experiencing breast cancer.

McGrath Foundation CEO, Petra Buchanan, who will speak at the event said, ‘The Signature High Tea is a beautiful opportunity to get together with your family or friends and enjoy a special day while supporting a cause close to the heart of so many Australians. And this year is extra special as we celebrate a ‘pink decade’ ‘ ten years of the McGrath Foundation.’

Guests are encouraged to don a touch of pink and enjoy tea, coffee and an assortment of scrumptious cakes and savoury treats, as well as Hardy’s sparkling and wine throughout the afternoon.

Jane McGrath and best friend Tracy Bevan, Ambassador and Director of the McGrath Foundation, hosted a high tea as one of the Foundation’s first fundraising initiatives. The McGrath Foundation continues to host high teas as a way to connect with supporters and raise funds to place McGrath Breast Care Nurses in communities across Australia.

Since 2005, the McGrath Foundation has funded 102 McGrath Breast Care Nurses in communities across Australia who have supported more than 33,000 families through breast cancer.
