Vodafone
The 2010/11 summer of cricket would not have been the same without the generous support of our amazing friends at Vodafone. From fundraising at each and every Ashes Test nationally, sponsoring the High Tea at the G and Jane McGrath High Tea, turning their logo hot pink for the Pink Test (an international first for Vodafone), donating $3000 for every six and wicket on Day 3 of the Sydney Test, and $9000 from the Earl of Twirl, Vodafone have been extremely supportive of us and we can’t thank them enough. We greatly appreciate their efforts to get on board and show their support, and we’re proud to say they donated over $150,000, with their staff helping raise an additional $75,000 in public donations during the 2010/11 summer of cricket. Thank you Vodafone!

Wolf Blass
Thank you to Wolf Blass and all the celebs involved in the Wolf Blass Celebrity Charity Test, which raised $30,000 for the McGrath Foundation at the MCG on Day 1 of the Vodafone Boxing Day Test in Melbourne. Celebrities including Michael Slater, Guy Sebastian and Kris Smith took part in the game, and our McGrath Breast Care Nurse, Michelle Hamblin, and Foundation Friend, Lee Furlong, were on hand to receive the cheque for $30,000.

KFC
KFC turned their iconic red bucket pink in January, with $1 donated to the McGrath Foundation from every KFC bucket sold between 3 and 9 January. A custom-made KFC pink bucket also toured the country during December and January, stopping at various KFC stores along the way to collect donations. Over $315,000 was raised from the campaign, so a big thank you to KFC and to everyone who made a donation at a KFC store.

Greyhound Racing Associations
The ‘Go The Pink Dog’ campaign went national this year and raised a phenomenal $120,500 for the Foundation. During February, every time a greyhound wearing the pink number eight vest won a race in a participating state (VIC, NSW, TAS, WA), that state’s greyhound racing association donated $500. A big thanks to everyone involved!

Kumho Tyres
Thank you to Kumho Tyres, who are continuing their Corporate Friendship with a very generous $200,000 donation over the next two years. This is in addition to the $100,000 that Kumho have already donated.

A big thank you to our friends at Coles, who generously donated $70,000 to the McGrath Foundation from their summer avocado campaign. Click here to check out the Coles Feed Your Family recipes from Curtis Stone today to see how you can include yummy avocados in your meals!

IGA
IGA Supermarkets generously donated 30 cents to the Foundation from every pack of Baker’s Oven Raspberry Lamington Fingers sold between 10 January and 6 February, raising over $16,400 in total. Thank you IGA!

NSW Government and the Great Moscow Circus
A big shout out to the former NSW Labor Government, who hosted a special charity performance of the Great Moscow Circus on the eve of Jane McGrath Day in Sydney. With wacky clowns, thrilling aerial and acrobatic artistry and the famous Globe of Death, the fundraising performance resulted in over $14,000 from ticket sales and merchandise, so thank you to the NSW Government, the Great Moscow Circus and everyone who attended.

BDO Australia
Our good friends at BDO have raised over $20,000 for the Foundation from a series of Code:Pink events, so thank you to everyone involved ‘ that’s an amazing achievement and a wonderful tribute to our friend and former BDO Partner, the late Michelle Gooch.

Ritchies Supermarkets
Thank you to Ritchies Supermarkets, who recently donated over $68,000 to the McGrath Foundation. We are lucky to be a beneficiary of the Ritchies Community Chest program, which means that Ritchies customers who sign up to the Community Chest program and receive a Community Benefit Card can nominate the McGrath Foundation to receive a percentage of what they spend in store.
