Wesley Curtin Pink Ladies Day Raises Over $50,000

Last weekend, Wesley Curtin Football Club hosted the fifth annual Pink Tiger Ladies Day at Curtin University’s South Oval, raising an incredible total of more than $50,000 for the McGrath Foundation!

Former Australian cricket star and McGrath Foundation Friend, Adam Gilchrist attended the event, where the A Grade team wore specially designed pink jumpers as they took on CBC Fremantle, watched by more than 500 spectators enjoying food, drinks and entertainment in a marquee overlooking the ground.

The largest single fundraising event run by a community sports club in support of the McGrath Foundation, Australia-wide, the event has now raised around $150,000 to assist the McGrath Foundation in placing McGrath Breast Care Nurses in communities across Australia to support families through breast cancer and to raise breast awareness in young women.
