Meet the McGrath Breast Care Nurses

My McGrath Breast Care Nurse is fantastic. She has just the right personality to be dealing with women at such a vulnerable time - she is very caring, has compassion and empathy in bucket-loads, all backed up by excellent knowledge and skill. Her assistance in organising things, such as appointments, in the early stages was a godsend, as there are so many things to think about and organise. We are very fortunate to have her here, and we are grateful to the McGrath Foundation for the funding provided.

From the moment I was diagnosed, my McGrath Breast Care Nurse was there. While trying to remain strong for my husband and kids, she has provided me with the support to keep things as normal as possible and became my shoulder to cry on. Sometimes you just need time out for yourself and having the outside support, you are able to cry, vent and then cry some more.
