The Caravan and Camping Industry Association raised $20 000 for the McGrath Foundation through the collection of donations at their NSW Caravan and Camping Supershow earlier this year.

Glenn McGrath was on hand to collect the cheque from CCIA CEO Barry Ballie.

The McGrath’s know all about taking the battle to the opposition.

An exciting addition to our fundraising this year is an event we are organising in England. It’s a charity celebrity football match to be held on 30th September at Altrincham Football Club, in Manchester.

Captained by Glenn McGrath, the team consists of Michael Bevan, Darren Gough, Clayton Blackmoore (ex Manchester United player) and Brian Robson (ex Manchester United and England player) as well as many others. They are playing a team called the All Stars which consists of actors from top UK soaps Coronation St, Emmerdale Farm and Hollyoaks.

Hosted by Jane and Glenn McGrath and with MC, Mike Whitney, the inaugural McGrath Foundation Gala Dinner was a night of glamour and glitz Viva Las Vegas style. Over 600 Foundation supporters came along to the ‘McGrath Hotel’ at Randwick Racecourse, NSW, and were entertained by three huge music performances, showgirls, gambling and of course, Elvis!

Help support Citizens Who Care achieve the world record for the longest bra chain while supporting the McGrath Foundation. Citizens Who Care are a dedicated community group who are raising money to employ a McGrath nurse for the Bundaberg region in Queensland with fundraising efforts to date totaling $14,440.00. Australian cricketer Glenn McGrath has praised the staff and clients of agribusiness Elders Ltd for their efforts to assist in the employment of breast cancer care nurses in rural and regional Australia.
