FINALKarenSpriggformattedKaren brings more than 20 years experience as a registered nurse to her role as a McGrath Breast Care Nurse. Specialising in oncology and palliative care, Karen has worked in a wide range of settings, both public and private hospitals and in community health. Most recently, Karen has worked at Cancer Council Tasmania as a Cancer Council Nurse, navigating people with cancer and their families through the range of available cancer services.

Karen feels privileged to be working as a McGrath Breast Care Nurse and is excited about the opportunity to make a difference through the role.

"A diagnosis of breast cancer, and the subsequent treatment, can turn a person's life upside down. As a McGrath Breast Care Nurse my aim is to lessen the impact of this experience by providing specialised information, clinical care and ongoing support."
