I-MED Network

A big thank you to the I-MED Network, who generously donated $10 for every mammogram performed at their 200 clinics across Australia during October. Many of the Network's clinics also fundraised on top of this, collecting donations in hot pink piggy banks. In total the I-MED Network raised an amazing $109,537.17!

Zelows Travelgoods and Handbags

The Zelows 'Our Support, it's in the Bag' campaign was a fantastic success, raising over $39,000 for the McGrath Foundation! Throughout October, Zelows donated $1 from every sale processed in their 48 stores across Australia, so this is an incredible result. Thank you to Zelows, and all their staff, for their wonderful support.

Easydry

Thanks to our friends at Easydry, the 'pink me!' initiative took the hairdressing industry by storm during October and raised well over $23,000. Hundreds of hairdressers across Australia turned pink for Breast Cancer Awareness Month and purchased limited edition pink Easydry eco-towels, with $25 from every box sold donated to us. A big thank you to all the salons who went pink for us, to all their clients for their support and in particular the amazing Easydry team!

Blackmores Sydney Running Festival

Thank you so much to everyone who fundraised for us in the Blackmores Sydney Running Festival in September, with a special shout-out to our wonderful friends at Blackmores. We really appreciate all the hard work you put into your training and fundraising, and we're thrilled to say you helped us raise over $60,000! It was great to meet some of our runners on the day wearing their limited edition running singlets, and we hope to see you again at next year's running festival. We'd also like to thank everyone who fundraised for us in running events around Australia this year.

A Big Win for the Pink Team McGrath Car!

Congratulations to Leanne Tander, who won Race 3 in the Touring Car Masters at the 2010 Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000 in her hot pink Team McGrath Ford XA GT. Leanne is Australia's top female racing car driver and has been a big supporter of the Foundation, along with the rest of the Wilson Security Racing Team. Leanne held onto the lead for the whole of her race, and this was the best result for her to date. A big congratulations from the McGrath Foundation!

Great North Walk

A big shout-out to Tracy Thew, Lucy Mason-Jones, Nicki Sewell, Sharlene Marsland, Jacky Paul, Karen Sewell, Lesley Waldon, Cori Isele and Lydia Balnave. These nine women battled exhaustion and tough weather conditions to walk 250km along the Great North Walk Track during October, while raising money for the Foundation. Starting in Sydney and finishing in Newcastle, the ladies raised over $40,000 for the McGrath Foundation.
