sep10_n9-1Australians went crazy for Aussie Apples this winter, buying approximately 2.7 million apples at IGA stores across the country in just four weeks!  IGA very generously donated 20 cents to us from every specially marked 1kg punnet of IGA Fresh Pink Lady™ or IGA Fresh Granny Smith apples sold between 21 June and 16 July, and we’re thrilled to announce that an amazing $60,000 was raised for the Foundation!

sep10_n9-2Thanks to greeting card publisher, Phoenix Trading, and their amazing Phoenix Traders, Butterfly Tea Parties were held nationally throughout August selling limited edition Butterfly Cupcakes cards as well as doing their own fundraising activities. The initiative has thus far raised in excess of $127,000, with donations still coming through.

sep10_n9-3The NRL’s Harvey Norman Women in League Rounds in June were certainly pinked out and collectively raised a whopping $120,000. Fans got into the spirit by buying scarves, clubs auctioned off shoes and jerseys and the general public donated generously. A big thank you to everyone involved and we can’t wait to be back for the footy season next year!
