The 2010 Toll Charity Classic helps the McGrath Foundation support Australian families experiencing breast cancer

Gold Coast residents, get ready, because the 2010 Toll Charity Classic is rolling into town! With golf enthusiasts having already snapped up all the tickets for the Golf Day, there’s still something for everyone at the Charity Classic, with tickets available for the Gala Ball and Ladies Lunch, both held on Friday 20 August at RACV Royal Pines Resort.
With a Golf Day, Ladies Lunch and Gala Ball, it’s set to be a star-studded event to remember, and this year all proceeds will be donated to the McGrath Foundation to place McGrath Breast Care Nurses in communities right across Australia and to educate young women to be breast aware.
Foundation Friends, musician Shannon Noll and Sea FM’s Moyra McGregor, will add some star power to the 2010 Toll Charity Classic, along with Mark Beretta from Channel Seven’s Sunrise.
The McGrath Foundation’s Tracy Bevan is the special guest speaker at both events, and is thrilled to be involved with the 2010 Toll Charity Classic.
“I’m really looking forward to heading to the Gold Coast, sharing the McGrath Foundation’s story and chatting to guests at the Ladies Lunch and Gala Ball. Thanks to Toll’s support, the Foundation will be one step further to achieving Jane’s dream of a breast care nurse to support every Australian family experiencing breast cancer.
“We now have 55 McGrath Breast Care Nurses in communities right across Australia, which wouldn’t have been possible without the support of our wonderful Corporate Friends, including Toll,” said Tracy.
The Gala Ball is set to be a fabulous night out, with great food and entertainment, as well the chance to rub shoulders with a few celebrities. Foundation Friend, Shannon Noll, will give a private performance of some of his best known hits, while Sunrise’s Mark Beretta is sure to keep guests entertained all night as host.
A formal affair, the Gala Ball will feature pre-dinner drinks, a mouth-watering meal, spectacular fireworks display, silent auction, raffle, Grand Auction, and lucky door prizes, with plenty of fantastic prizes up for grabs. There will be a resident cartoonist/artist, and covers band, Savvy, will ensure everyone is up out of their seats dancing.
If you’re after a great day out with the girls, don’t miss the Ladies Lunch, hosted by Foundation Friend and Sea FM host, Moyra McGregor. Starting with champagne and canapés, you and your girlfriends will enjoy a delicious lunch, wine, and plenty of fun and entertainment.
