Shoes with Sole: Rollasole Australia Extends Support to the McGrath Foundation

The Rollasole – the first roll-up ballet flat and every girl’s new BFF – now looks even prettier in pink, with Rollasole Australia generously donating $2 from the sale of every pink pair of Rollasole’s sold through www.rollasole.com.au (excluding the state of Victoria) to the McGrath Foundation. The McGrath Foundation raises money to place McGrath Breast Care Nurses in communities right across Australia as well as educating young women to be breast aware.

V8 Supercar Driver and Rollasole Australia Manager, Michael Patrizi, has been a big supporter of the McGrath Foundation, showing his true ‘pink’ self at the 2009 Bathurst 1000 driving a pink livered McGrath Foundation Ford race car, complete with a pinked out racing suit.

It’s very exciting for us to be a Corporate Friend of the McGrath Foundation as they are a great charity and really push hard for breast awareness in Australia. Women are a very important part of everyone’s lives and being a family man myself, I could think of nothing worse than losing a loved one to breast cancer. So this collaboration with the McGrath Foundation gives all of us at Rollasole great pride to be given the opportunity to support such a worthy cause.

“Our pink Rollasoles are a great fit with the Foundation and the perfect gift for that special someone in your life, particularly if they are known to pike early from a night out because of sore feet! We truly hope everyone that purchases pink Rollasoles will wear them proudly,” said Michael.

A lover of a good pair of high heels, the McGrath Foundation’s Tracy Bevan is thrilled with the McGrath Foundation’s friendship with Rollasole.

“For years, I’ve subjected myself to wearing heels to events and by the end of the night, your feet are just wrecked. Now, I have the perfect excuse to kick off my heels and wear my pink Rollasoles instead – all in support of the McGrath Foundation of course!”

“It’s also fabulous to see another Corporate Friend come on board with the Foundation that is so passionate about supporting us and truly believes in our motto that together, we can make a difference,” said Tracy.

In other good news, girls with achy breaky feet will no longer be left to hobble home, with the award-winning Rollasoles set to be the first shoes in Australia to be sold through vending machines as well as online.

Several bars have already signed on for the new craze, with word expected to spread. With heels getting higher, Rollasoles will be the magical pick-me-up to ensure a long night of dancing and partying for any girl.

To purchase your pair of pink Rollasoles for just $19.95 plus delivery, please visit www.rollasoles.com.au. Think ahead, minimise those sore feet woes and buy yours today!
