I’m very excited to be able to introduce our 55th McGrath Breast Care Nurse, Catherine Enter.  Catherine is based at the Foster Community Health Centre in Victoria, providing extremely valuable support to those women diagnosed with breast cancer, and their families, in the South Gippsland region. I’d also like to send a big McGrath Foundation welcome to Angela Wotherspoon, our new McGrath Breast Care Nurse in Hervey Bay, Queensland. Angela replaces Liz Shaw, who unfortunately has had to leave us to move to Brisbane with her family. I’d like to take this opportunity to thank Liz very much for her commitment and fantastic work over the past 12 months, and wish her all the very best for the future.

I’ve spent much of the last couple of months carrying out visits to all our McGrath Breast Care Nurses nationwide, which has been a wonderful opportunity to see firsthand the incredible work these amazing ladies do. Thank you very much to everyone who has so warmly welcomed me and been so generous in taking the time (often quite a lot!) to talk with me as I’ve travelled around the country!

We’re delighted that the number of McGrath Breast Care Nurses continues to grow, and please watch this space for announcements about new McGrath Breast Care Nurse positions in the near future!
