Meet Helen Goodall McGrath Breast Care Nurse Armidale, NSW

Wednesday, 09 June 2010 13:57

jun10_n6Helen has been working as a registered nurse in the oncology setting in rural NSW for the last six years. During this time, Helen has worked in the Armidale Oncology Day Unit as a chemotherapy nurse looking after not only breast cancer patients, but all other cancers, including haematology. Helen has been a McGrath Breast Care Nurse since 2009.

“I jumped at the chance to be a McGrath Breast Care Nurse knowing that the position would be highly valued and needed in this community and that in this role, I would be able to support women and men with breast cancer (and their families), as well as be able to provide accurate information and education. I hope to deliver an extremely high standard of care and support to patients and their families across the Northern tablelands and McIntyre cluster.”
