The Magic for McGrath Tour Winds Up

One of the highlights of our Sydney volunteer function was the presentation of a commemorative plaque to Anthony and Nicola Laye, who spent the beginning of 2010 touring their Magic for McGrath show around the East Coast of Australia and to rural communities.

Anthony is a ‘mentalist’ who has been performing his magic of the mind act for many years in the UK. When he and his wife, Nicola, moved to Australia, they decided to embark on an extensive tour to raise funds for the McGrath Foundation.

Nicola and Anthony put on 40 shows in 40 nights (without a break), which is an absolutely amazing effort! Not only did the Magic for McGrath tour raise valuable funds for the Foundation, it also raised awareness of our work in areas that we could not have otherwise reached. The tour was a huge success, receiving rave reviews everywhere it went.
