Eat an Aussie Apple a Day this Winter to Support the McGrath Foundation

Make sure you stock up on Pink Lady and Granny Smith apples this winter, because IGA Supermarkets will donate 20 cents to the McGrath Foundation from every specially marked 1kg punnet of IGA Fresh Pink Lady™ and IGA Fresh Granny Smith apples sold at any of their 1300 stores around the country between 21 June and 16 July.

Last year, this campaign raised an incredible $48,400 for the Foundation in just three weeks through the sale of 1.3 million Pink Lady™ apples! In 2010, the campaign has been expanded to include Granny Smith Apples, and will run for an extra week, so we’re hoping to raise even more than last year!
