Anthony Laye Presents His Magical Mind Reading Show "Magic for McGrath"

Magician, Anthony Laye, together with his wife Nicola, will be travelling around Australia with the aim of raising over $150,000 for the McGrath Foundation by performing 40 mind reading shows in just 40 nights. 

The non-stop journey will start in Wollongong, NSW, on 20^th February and will finish on the 31st March in Cairns, Queensland. Anthony and Nicola will travel through New South Wales, Queensland, Victoria and South Australia to perform a truly magical mind reading show in support of the McGrath Foundation. 

Founded in 2005, by Jane McGrath and her cricketing husband Glenn, the McGrath Foundation aims to raise funds to place McGrath Breast Care Nurses in communities right across Australia. The McGrath Foundation also works to increase breast awareness among young Australian women. 

Anthony and Nicola decided to support the McGrath Foundation, and their efforts to support women diagnosed with breast cancer and their families through the funding of McGrath Breast Care Nurses, after Anthony witnessed the struggle of a close friend with breast cancer. 

“I was living in England at the time, my friend had just been diagnosed with breast cancer, and so I flew to Warrnambool for a few weeks to lend support. I was shocked to see a once fit and active lady suddenly crippled by the effects of breast cancer. The one thing that stood out in all of this, was the amazing job the breast care nurses were doing. All I can wish is that a cure is found, until that time, however, women affected by breast cancer need the help and support of McGrath Breast Care Nurses,” said Anthony.
