What's on during Jane McGrath Day at the 3 mobile Test

As part of the support for the McGrath Foundation at the 3 mobile Test in Sydney, Day 3 will be formally recognised as Jane McGrath Day.
Cricket Australia, 3 mobile, Cricket New South Wales and the SCG are coming together to present a number of activities as the centrepiece of the ‘Pink’ 3 mobile Test.
- McGrath Foundation ambassadors including Glenn McGrath, Michael Bevan, Commonwealth Bank Southern Star Lisa Sthalekar, Australian netballer Catherine Cox, NRL star David Williams, Bondi Surf Lifesaver Andrew Reid and celebrity trainer Shannon Ponton will be cooking a BBQ breakfast for ticket holders in the public section of the SCG. Fans will receive breakfast from the stars in return for a donation to the McGrath Foundation from 8:30am.
- Glenn will be joined by members of his family, including his children James (10) and Holly (8), his mother Bev, and his father Kev, and close friends for the day at the ground.
- The SCG Trust will be holding their second annual Jane McGrath High Tea during the lunch break with guest speakers including Tracy Bevan, Australian fast bowler Stuart Clark and former Olympic track sprinter Melinda Gainsford-Taylor. Guests at the event will include the Prime Minister Kevin Rudd, media personality Adam Spencer, NSW Waratahs captain Phil Waugh along with Australian player partners.
- The SCG Trust will temporarily re-name the iconic Ladies Stand, the Jane McGrath Stand, for the day
- The ‘Pink Lads’, who took off from the MCG on Day 4 of the 3 mobile Test are scheduled to arrive at the SCG during the lunch break completing their run from Melbourne to Sydney within a week. The ‘Pink Lads’ who include Glenn Gorrick (former Triathlete), Mal Butterfield (former National Malibu Surf Board Champion) and Harald Ulriksen (Community Fundraiser for the McGrath Foundation), have raised funds along the way for the McGrath Foundation and will be joined by Opposition Leader Tony Abbott for the final leg of the run.
- Australian player’s Test shirts will be signed after Day 2 play and handed over to Glenn McGrath, with anyone making a donation to the McGrath Foundation at www.mcgrathfoundation.com.au during the 3 mobile Test in Sydney then eligible to win one of the limited edition shirts pink shirts featuring the McGrath Foundation logo.
- McGrath Foundation Breast Care Nurse Catrina Ross will be at the SCG for the day’s activities.
- 3 mobile will continue in turning their on-field signage, fence signage and the stumps pink, while in addition 3 mobile volunteers will be distributing Pink Zinc to fans throughout the ground in return for a gold coin donation to make the SCG even pinker.
- The Great Betfair Pigeon Race will reach its climax as 12 elite racing pigeons make the journey from Narromine to Trangie – Can “Tubby” get up again?

About the McGrath Foundation
The McGrath Foundation was co-founded by Jane and Glenn McGrath. The Foundation provides funding for McGrath Breast Care Nurses nationally, with particular emphasis on rural and regional areas across the country. Each McGrath Breast Care Nurse is funded for a minimum of three years. To date there are 53 McGrath Breast Care Nurses nationally.
