Meet Jennie Copley, McGrath Breast Care Nurse for Darwin

Friday, 18 December 2009 10:15

Jennie Copley has worked as a nurse for over 30 years and as a breast care nurse in the Darwin community for nearly four years. She is thrilled to be working as a McGrath Breast Care Nurse at Royal Darwin Hospital and values the opportunity to form close relationships with women through her role.

“This is an exciting challenge for me,” said Jennie. “One of the main parts of the role is supporting these women, especially as I am entering their lives at a time when they are arguably at their most vulnerable. I can step in and really help them through the processes, as a lot of women and their families are not used to being hospital and that can be scary.”
