The “Pink Lads” Challenge – 29 December 2009 to 5 January 2010, various locations between Melbourne and Sydney

dec09_ladsA team of committed McGrath Foundation supporters will be undertaking an extreme physical and mental challenge in a continuous run from the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) to the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) over the New Year period.

The 1000km run will commence during the tea break on the fourth day of the Boxing Day Test at the MCG in Melbourne with a single group lap of the oval and then onto Sydney! The runners will take turns, running 10km each, until they reach the SCG on Day 3 of the 3 mobile  Sydney Test, Jane McGrath Day.

The team includes former triathlete, Glenn Stanley Gorick, former National Surf Malibu Board Champion, Mal Butterfield, and McGrath Foundation community fundraiser, Harald Ulriksen.
