Sporting Legends McGrath and Judd Unite!

Last month, Glenn, together with AFL Superstar and Visy Environmental Ambassador, Chris Judd, joined forces to launch the McGrath Pink Safety Vest.

Traditionally a fan of blue, Carlton captain and Visy’s Environmental Ambassador, Chris Judd, says “I can’t think of a better way to salute what the McGrath Foundation is trying to achieve and am proud that Visy has lead the charge on such an important initiative.”

The only pink safety vest to meet all Australian Safety Standards, the vest was launched at Visy Park in November. Visy management and recycling truck drivers were more than happy to don a pink vest for a good cause and Visy is the first company to issue the vests to all onsite visitors and contractors to Visy plants.

Similarly, Visy’s Lee Smith, is excited about the initiative, saying, “We really wanted to find a way not just to make a donation to the Foundation, but to show that we live the McGrath Foundation values of promoting breast awareness for all women, every day - even while working.”
The concept of the McGrath Pink Safety Vest inspired the release of the McGrath Pink Hard Hat range that was launched with Patrick’s Stevedores in Sydney in September 2009.
