Canberra Darters score for the McGrath Foundation – Canberra, ACT

oct09_darters.jpgThe Canberra Darters are the latest sporting team to have donned the pink in support of the McGrath Foundation, turning the AIS arena into a sea of pink and donating half the gate takings of their home games to the Foundation.

Sharing the colour pink (the Canberra Darters uniforms are hot pink), the Darters and the Foundation were a natural match. With the full force of the McGrath Foundation support behind them, the Darters enjoyed huge success including a 35 goal win over Singapore and a thrilling 47-46 upset win over the NSW Waratahs.

With a $2000 donation from Australian National Netball League Sponsor, New Idea, and half the gate takings for all three of their home games, we want to thank the Darters and all their fans for their fantastic support. Thanks Darters!
