Celebrating Shorthorns in Style – Dubbo, NSW

jul09_dubbo.jpgOn a recent trip to Dubbo, Glenn McGrath befriended a bull and heifer and in doing so helped the 50th Annual National Shorthorn Show and Sale raise $16,700 for the Foundation.

After officially opening the show, Glenn helped auction off his new friends, who together sold for a whopping $11,000. A further $5,700 was donated by the vendors of the sale.

“My family’s properties have never really bee cattle properties - we’ve always concentrated on wheat and sheep - but after today I’m thinking maybe it’s time to branch out. It was a really enjoyable day and everyone was so generous,” said Glenn.
