IGA raises $48,000 through the sale of 1.3 Million Pink Lady Apples!

Our generous friends at IGA and Pink Lady apples have raised an incredible $48,400 through the sale of an astounding 1.3 million Aussie Pink Lady™ apples in only three weeks!

According to Tania Allt, IGA Fresh National Marketing Manager, the 167,000 punnets of Pink Lady™ Apples sold during the successful promotion would have filled 15 semi-trailers.

IGA donated 20 cents from every 1kg punnet of specially marked Pink Lady™ apples sold through their 1280 stores nationally between 15 June and 5 July.

IGA gave the fundraising promotion a strong kick-start with a very generous donation of $15,000 and fantastic pink displays throughout stores.
