The McGrath’s know all about taking the battle to the opposition.
In his cricketing career, Glenn never took a backward step when faced with adversity, and in her fight against breast cancer, Jane McGrath learned that to prevail against the odds, you have to stand up and fight.
After her initial recovery from breast cancer Jane along with husband Glenn McGrath founded the McGrath Foundation to lead the push to bring breast care nurses to rural and regional Australia.
As Glenn and Jane both know, a strong team is what gets you through the most daunting of challenges and the M&M’s brand, as a major sponsor of the McGrath Foundation, stands resolutely alongside Jane and Glenn and Australia’s breast care nurses.
Not being a candy to hide its light under a bushel at the best of times, M&M’s are going totally pink for the cause and they’re proud to be part of such an illustrious team.
In distinct and dazzling pink packaging, featuring the limited edition pink and white “Boob Tube” container, sales of M&M’s will add a much needed boost to the funds the Foundation raises to fight breast cancer.
Jane and Glenn McGrath will also be the guests of honour when M&M’s host the launch of the “boob tubes” on Monday 20th August. In what is, as far as we know, a fashion world first, celebrities have been asked to design “boob tubes” to be modelled at the event and then auctioned afterwards (exact details of auction to be provided) to raise additional funds for the foundation.
While the auction and the campaign aim to shine a vibrant, pink light on the issue, M&M’s and the McGrath Foundation are committed to supporting all Australian women confronted by this challenge and to overcome the nation’s shortage of qualified breast care nurses.
