Run for Life

In a first for the McGrath Foundation, UK marathon runner James Skinner will represent the Foundation when he competes in the Berlin Marathon on Sunday 28 September 2008.

James was keen to support the Foundation with fundraising after reading Jane and Glenn's book, 'A Love for Life', which enthralled him. In James’ words ‘I simply couldn't put it down!! ‘ he said. James has several reasons for representing the Foundation; firstly because he felt really inspired by Jane and Glenn's story, secondly because his Aunt has recently been diagnosed with breast cancer, thirdly because he has just visited Australia for the trip of a lifetime and he fell in love with the country, its people & nature and finally because marathon running is something very close to his heart.
