Speed on Tweed - Cruising in Style!

In a “classic” fundraising initiative, Syd and Nicki Reinhardt took their 1929 Speed 6 Bentley on a 3000km journey from Melbourne to Murwillumbah to raise funds for the McGrath Foundation.

Starting on 8 September, Syd and Nicki left Melbourne and travelled 3347.56km through country Victoria, the Australian Capital Territory and New South Wales to reach Murwillumbah to compete in the Festival of Speed on Tweed.

We would like to sincerely thank Syd and Nicki Reinhardt and Roger Ealand (Manager of the Speed on Tweed Festival) for their fantastic support. Syd and Nicki said they were overwhelmed by the level of support shown along the way with everyone from local store attendants to other people travelling along the road at the same time contributing to the final donation tally. Bentley International also chipped in with a $10,000 donation.

In total, the trip raised $60,000 for the Foundation and provided an invaluable opportunity to encourage greater breast awareness.
