Kids think pink for McGrath Foundation

Kids think pink for McGrath FoundationSAWTELL Public School students were in the pink on last Friday as they raised funds for the McGrath Foundation. Students and teachers covered themselves in pink from head to toe. The school made a donation of $185 to the foundation set up by Jane and Glen McGrath to support those affected by breast cancer. "At Sawtell we throw ourselves into events like this, and I was particularly impressed with the enthusiasm of the boys and male teachers," principal Michael Trist said. "Each term we donate proceeds of a mufti day to charity, and the students also raise funds to sponsor a little boy in Vietnam. We realise that we are more fortunate than lots of others so we work together to help them out," Mr Trist said.
