$3000 raised for breast cancer

AS PART of a national campaign conducted by Elders for breast cancer awareness in the month of October each year, Elders Glen Innes hosted a three person Golf Ambrose on Friday, with proceeds going to the McGrath foundation.

Sixty eight players teed off on Friday morning after the original concept of a sponsor's day became an open day to community members.

On the day. $900 was raised. The total amount stands at $3000. This money was raised from $200 donations from Elders merchandisers, who also donated the trophies, and donations from local community members. The gross winners for the day were Bill Kerr, Leta
