Ladies Sailing Day Race

The Royal Motor Yacht Club – Port Hacking, in conjunction with Cronulla Sailing Club, is holding its annual Ladies Sailing Day Race on Saturday 15 May to support the McGrath Foundation. The day will commence at 9am with a sausage sizzle on the lawns of the RMYC, where there will be merchandise for sale, before the sailors take to their yachts for a category 7 race in the Port Hacking River estuary. The entry fee for each yacht is $25, and yachts are encouraged to dress in pink. Spectators can watch the race from great vantage points at Bass and Flinders Lookout and Glaisher Point at Cronulla. After the race, the festivities will continue back at the RMYC, with live music and loads of prizes to be won in the mystery "pick an envelope”.  Breast care nurses and patients will talk about their experiences before the day ends at around 6pm. For further details, please contact Kim on 0409 917 762.
