Relay For Life - Sylvania

RelayforLife.jpgAt the recent Cancer Council Relay for Life at Sylvania, Glenn Stanley Gorick ran continuously for 24hrs covering 305 laps (124Ks) and has donated $1887 of the funds faised to the McGrath Foundation. Glenn said, "The amount of money pledged by many was a great surprise considering I only decided to do the run three weeks out from the event making the fund raising period very short."

Glenn also plans to run from the summit of Mt Kosciusko to Sylvania to finish at next years Relay for Life run. The theme is to run from the highest point in Australia to the lowest suburb in Sydney. It should take about a week and hopefully raise a considerable amount of money for the Foundation.
